    First ride....magnificent!

Sorry here as well..I wasn't being sarcastic; I wasn't sure you'd seen his lift pic, and I had the same dilemma in Florida where I had low pressure at times. I seriously considered trying to strap some bucket or something to the transom to submerge the lower unit, but never came up with any...

    First ride....magnificent!

He's on a lift, I think. That would be the obvious answer on a trailer.

    First ride....magnificent!

If you are at your home dock, you have what you have pressure-wise if you are on city water. Sometimes pressure and flow is affected by how many of your neighbors are using water at the same time you do. That will vary with peak usage times on any given day. I think you are alright anyway. I...

    First ride....magnificent!

The bigger the Outboard, the more pressure it needs to make it "pee." out the telltale. My 350's take a LOT of pressure. Glad you're enjoying the boat!

Mini Fridge in a 232 Gulfstream?

At The End Of The Day, it's more trouble than it's worth to try to put a fridge in a cabin that has a useless stove & sink as well. Agree on the cooler, and you can fill the port livewell with ice. It kept ice for a surprisingly long time, even in hot weather. That worked for me when I owned...

Mini Fridge in a 232 Gulfstream?

To add to what Beyond A Wake said: I owned a Gulfstream for 10 years. It does not have shore power, therefore without a generator you can't get A/C Power to it, and I don't know where you'd put a generator on a Gulfstream. Some fridges run off D/C, but then you have battery drain, although I...

    Power 225 up to 300 24 offshore

Can you get Non-Ethanol at the stations where you purchase? Just wondering- It's readily available in Florida, but you have to search for it here in Indiana.

    Power 225 up to 300 24 offshore

Family; Between Michigan and Florida's East & West Coast, I have yet to encounter a marina with anything less than 90 Octane Non-Ethanol. A guess, yes, but I doubt he'll ever idle into a marina with only 87 octane. We all offer opinions here. That's one of the reasons for this Grady Platform...

    Power 225 up to 300 24 offshore

As mentioned, the Yam 300's are really reliable. Get the 300 and put on as much HP as the boat will take. I have NEVER been sorry I have had max HP. Never.

    283 vs 306 canyon

Real World Actual Experience with 300's VS 350's on my Marlin. (Same hull as the 306, I believe.) My 350's get a tick better mileage than the 300-Powered Marlin I rode in. 350's: 1.4 to 1.5 MPG all day long in reasonable conditions where I can stay on plane. 300's 1.3-1.4, same conditions...

    232 vs 228?

Thanks Lucky: I appreciate it. It's fun to follow your evolution here. If you have come full circle, and decided to keep the Seafarer, you can mentally relax and enjoy your ride. As you well know, there will always be another boat down the Pike that will be worth a second glance, but there is...

    232 vs 228?

Mustang: When I lived in Florida, there was a Chesapeake in our North Basin on a lift. The Owner was a nice guy and told me he really dug the boat. He and his family ran it down to the Keys from Charlotte Harbor once a year, and it treated them well enroute unless it really got sloppy. I have...

    330 verses 360

Again, I can't speak for any 350's but my own, but my "C" Series have been flawless through 300+ hrs. I have had two flywheels replaced and I find that while that is being performed, it's a great time to get a grouper sandwich.

    NE Boat Show

I must agree about Graveyard Cars; My son and I have to fast-forward thru the stupid attempts at jokes & drama to find anything useful about cars. Sometimes we skip complete episodes.

JJF: Not to wander into the muscle car world on a boating forum, but while your correct in your assessment of how they drive vs new ones, you are missing one key ingredient: Emotion. People will pay North of 150-200K to get a Ride that makes them feel like a Kid again. A car that takes them...

    330 verses 360

Agreed. That's why I always mention I wouldn't buy the earlier ones either. So it has been formally discontinued? I though so.

    330 verses 360

I've never been on a 36, so I can't comment on that. I have typed this many times and still stand by it. The 2018 350's that are on my Marlin are the finest engines I have ever owned. I would by another set tomorrow if I need them. The tainted reputation is justifiably caused by the earlier...

    330 Express Generator

Happy to chime in; RE: Diesel Additives- I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know which one my Diesel Tech uses, but have a friend who likes StarTron. I can say I only use it when I know it will sit for a month or more. When the generator is used on a regular basis, I don’t add it and it’s fine...

    330 Express Generator

Seasick: I was concerned as well regarding running my Fischer-Panda at low loads for long periods, but on these Grady's you cannot keep enough appliances on the A/C side going to maintain a 50% load on the Genset for extended periods. You just can't. 1.The Water Heater draws until the water is...
