    How to remove birds

The owl actually works. My old man had one on his canape. The only issue was the spring on the head would rust.

    Dekit

My files are to large for the inside bolsters and dash. I'll upload later.

    Helm Chair Wobble 2006 Sailfish

If you can't located the insert and you don't use the slide you can insert a plastic shim from the home dump. That's the way mine is right now until I find another option. That seat flopping around when it's choppy is a PIA.

    Explorer repower 246g

I have a 244 Explorer with the Zuke 300. Just got back from 45mile off shore trip. Had a good load and there was a good chop. 25mph at around 3mpg or around 9gph. I'm usually closer to 30 and under 10gph.

    Hatch mold

Are you pulling the mold from the existing part or making a mold?

    Tournament 19 Helm Panel Upgrade

I just did mine and was pissed that the box is on a slant. One side is a little larger so it looks like it's crooked. I have the Dekit guy coming out to add the foam to the top. He was supposed to do install this week. Going to build storage cup holders in the old gauge area.

    248 Voyager repower

That boat is very similar to my explorer. I had a single 225 2-smoke and moved a a 300. Top speed is about the same as these mini vans of the sea aren't built for speed. However, the hole shot is another story! The 225 in any weather was a PIA. In a following sea it just didn't have the power...

    Hatch mold

Made this from a MDF mold. This was probably the most complex. I actually used epoxy because I had to get down inside the mold. I made this about 10 years ago.

    Hatch mold

I pretty much use 3:1 Fiberglass Coatings epoxy for any fiberglass work. I'm rebuilding a 17' Mako right now with my 17 year old son. I live in a HOA and garage and epoxy is a lot easier on everyone around me. :) I like to use laminating polyester on parts because it's a bit easier to wet out...

    Hatch mold

If I was going to pull a gelcoat part it would have been much different as you are making a final product. Since I'm painting I didn't spend a lot of time on the mold. If you only have to make the hatch cover and you want gelcoat I would do it one of two ways. Option 1: Melamine sheet - you...

    Hatch mold

I let my son do most of the layup as I mixed for him. He didn't do to bad, but had a few air pockets around the hardware. Not a big deal and already fixed. I don't use gelcoat on one off mold as I paint my rebuilds. Building the receiver mold next.

Handrails and Rust...... How to address

I do something similar. Long finishing nail, red or green wire nut on top and in the garage frig. I do that with all of my sealants and adhesives. A battery operated caulking gun helps a lot when you need to use it again.

    Hatch mold

I know some of you like this kinda stuff. My son and I have been working on a project together. We are building some hatches and gutter molds currently. I'll try to throw some pics in as we go. This will be a 3/4" hatch with 1/2" honeycomb. Hinges and slam latch recessed. -1.5oz csm -1708...

    Quick spray boat soap

Yes, I had one for my car and started using it on the boat. I use a hybrid ceramic car soap and it seems to keep my detail job looking good. I don't use the recommended soap for the gun.

Local Grady White Dealer will not work on my Outboard

I wouldn't want a plug and play dealer mechanic touching my motor. Find a local mobile marine mechanic.

    Wiring off the battery terminals

Amp's will go right to the battery with a breaker. I disconnect the breaker on my amp when it's in storage.
