Rubbermaid 3 gallon roughneck tote works. You will have to do some trimming. I used my dremel and it has worked ou perfectly. I store qts of ringfree etc on one side, and assorted knives, hook pullers, boga grips etc while fishing on the other side. Make this into extremely useful space.

I found a tray at Home Depot that works. I did have to trim a bit but works perfectly. I’ll have to get the correct info. They are grey in color.

Amamola, nearly three weeks of running the boat with your suggestions. Wow, what a difference. The boat definitely likes to run at 27-29. Trimming the motor to mid point and then bowing down makes such a dramatic difference. It’s amazing the difference. Thank you so much.

My first question is what water depth, and how much line are you putting out? A general rule of thumb is 7-10 ft of rode to every foot of water. So for 20’ of water, at least 140 ft of rode. I have 250 ‘ total ft of rode ( rope and chain). I find the more line out, the less porpoising and sway...

Amamola, Thank you for you input on trimming. Another lesson learned. I ran how you suggested trimming the motor first, then dropping the bow. I ran at 27 mph from the GPS. Wow, completely different tide. I’m going to try again on the next south wind @ 15-20. Thanks again.

Parthery, wet as in spray over the bow. As I’ve said, ive tried both bow down and plowing, and also have tried tabs up all the way with motor trimmed.
