ABRUPT STALLING AT ABOUT 3700 RPM

Did you change the fuel/water separator? I would also check the fuel/water separator to see if you have water in the fuel tank/tanks.

    Lower unit failed

Last Friday, 21 Aug, we were returning from offshore when we hit something, not sure what it was as we never saw it, but we hit it doing 30. Starboard engine made some really horrible banging noises, my son was driving at the time so he snatched the throttles to neutral. We could not get the...

Fuel gauge question - what to trust?

i have found over the years(almost 13) I have had my Marlin with twin Yamaha F-250 my fuel used is pretty accurate, by that I mean +/- 1 gallons. The bars on the fuel gauge are not nearly as accurate as the fuel used. I keep a log of fuel used and record it and compare it to when I fill up the...

2009 Yamaha F250 bogging down, stalled out underway

I think Seasick might have hit the nail on the head. If the fuel primers are old (3 years or so in the sun) they may have hair line cracks and sucking air in. That happened to me a couple weeks ago, changed both primers and all is well now.

    Front hatch seal

I have had a heck of a tour sealing the overhead hatch in the cabin. I have tried three different kinds of seals with limited to no luck, it is still leaking. Anyone have a suggestion on what kind of seal to use? Thanks.

I have had 5 boats, 3 Gradys in a row, the most recent a 2007 Marlin. Best boat by far that I have ever owned. Great fishing, great cruising, and the Admiral loves it too.

    F250 Overheating Issue & Question

Okay I will throw in my two pennies worth......my guess is you have a bad blade on the impeller. I say that because last year I had a similar problem with my port engine at low power settings and after checking thermostats, etc., dropped the lower unit to find one of the blades on the impeller...

    HELM-SEAT-ARM-REST-REPAIR-RECONDITION-VINYL-PLASTIC-DYE-FOR-GRADY-WHITE

Prep was cleaning off the sweat/suntan lotion goo. I used a solution of dawn soap, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda. I tablespoon of the soap, and hydrogen peroxide, and then as much baking soda to make a thick goo to spread on the arms. Wait one hour and then wash off with a scrubby pad.
