    Hydraulic steering problem

Any pics of the cylinder piston head? I suspect it’s a Teflon/bronze 2-piece piston seal (?). I run a hyd machine shop north of you and repair all types of hyd cylinders, might be able to help.

    1986 Tournament 19 are rare?

Not sure they are rare, less of them for sure as most happy Grady owners move up bigger in time. I have a ‘92 which should be the same hull as yours. It’s been a great boat, friends and family wonder why I don’t upgrade but my reasons are because of trailer issues with larger heavier hulls, I...

    Seat glides

I ended up making a pair from scrap pieces of 1/2” thick. starboard from a friend. Worked sweet, nice and smooth, took a little time on the milling machine but happy they will outlast me (which shouldn’t take long:p).

    Portable bait well advice please

I did the same as OnoEric with a temp tank setup. Although mine is made from a cut down 55 gal plastic drum the drain is same over the transom. The pump I rigged up was a cheap Wally World bilge pump hanging off transom with a custom alum bracket. It can be removed and installed quick...

    Motorwell drains

The set going to Boats is for 1.250” OD tubing. I have the 1.000” tools also if needed. My 19’ Tourney has two 1.000” in the splashwell and two 1.250” for deck scupper drains.

    2002 Grady 282 - Brass Drain Tubes

Glad it worked out. I have found brass tubing in longer lengths if someone has many to do but requires putting on the first flare before inserting in transom. I use an air chisel (I call a zip gun) with a modified tool to creat the first flare. McMaster Carr sells brass tubing that works...

Not sure what your model is, but it should look like this under dash.

    Ritchie compass 30 Marlin

If you get underneath you’ll find a model code on the housing. I had one lose its fluid, called Richie and they said average $100 to refurbish. Ended up buying the exact replacement IIRC $120-130 new.

1994 Grady 192 Helm leaking hydraulic fluid

210 quad ring (if it’s a .750” shaft) available at your local hyd shop. Seastar does have two different sized shafts (IIRC .875”)

    Grady white 228g soft spot

like above I also did the weight thing, while the first layer of fabric (not sure type but for epoxy) was wet we buttered the wood, placed with weights and let cure on flat concrete, next day 2 more layers.

    Grady white 228g soft spot

I did same as Leeccoll, one layer of cloth under wood, two over. Put a 45 on all edges to be filled with epoxy/cabosil mixture so all screws would not be going thru wood Rock solid

Buying a used Grady White Tournament 192

I agree on the above posters, 100 hp would be underpowered. My 19’ with a 150 2-smoke needs about 23-25mph min to stay up on plane, full tank and a few guys and it struggles out of the hole. 25-30 it humms happily.

    Leaving home for moorage

Not sure where you are Trapper, but this is what you can look forward to even with bottom paint. It did come off with good pressure washing but was only in the water 5 months.
