You can get it too hot putting too much pressure on it trying to remove the stripes too fast. I burnt my old blue stripes into my rear starboard side when I first took off. Light pressure is your friend, it will remove the stripes fine.

Heat gun or eraser wheel and 3M adhesive remover or Goo-Gone. You'll probably have some ghosting from old cabin side flags. Wet sanding and/or time will fade the ghosting. Here's the old, original 2004 look and the new 2021 look.

Stripes are a lot smaller than the original ones. Much cleaner looking.

Call your dealer. The one's on Ebay are too expensive. I got new stripes, 228 callouts and new logos for a little over $400 from my dealer in Charleston.

The small one is correct for the 228. Got mine through my dealer.

    The Walk Around Cuddy R.I.P.

The 282 Sailfish would be my choice for a comeback boat. Still somewhat trailerable and big enough to handle rough water better than my 228. The 228 is a very capable boat and super easy to trailer anywhere I'd like to go, but the 282 is my 6' itis boat.

    battery sizes

I'm running 2 group 24's for motor and electronics, 2 group 27's for trolling motor. 24's in starboard box and 27's in port box.

    bunk guides

I've got the tall upright ones on my trailer. Came with it. Work well to control the back of the boat in crosswind or current.

Wanted: Fish Box Lid 2007 Marlin

A good fiberglass guy can repair that with no problem. Just take the lid off and take it to him.

    Gulfstream 232 repower

I have a DTS F250 coming with hydraulic steering, electronic steering is and option. Also went gauges over display and can use the same gauge panel.

    Adding new cleats

Just out of curiosity, why not just tie off low on the rail stanchion instead of the rail itself? Ball would be in the same area and not have to try and mount the cleat?

Just days away from first GW Adventure 208 2021! Am I on the right track?

Not that I'm aware of. I know we had a 15 year old thread or two come back to life a week or so ago. Just goes back to paying attention to the last posting date before you post. I read old threads too, but won't post in them, no reason to. Chances are the OP may be long gone or the issue is not...

    Repower

The 150 on that hull is probably the bare minimum you can get away with and have any sort of performance. That hull is rated for a 250, so in essence, you are 100 HP light. With a full load, people, fuel and gear, the 150 is going to struggle. If you're looking at a Nizpro tune, not sure if...
