I had the double roller on a previous boat too. It also worked well , as the forward roller is lower than the rear roller the anchor would be leaning forward .

It's a bit unusual for the tank to corrode in 15 years use , they are well made from marine aluminum and painted as well. It is more likely corrosion around the sender as they are fixed with S/S screws .

Check the fuse located near your battery switch, the float switch is wired before the battery switch so the bilge pump will work even if the batteries are turned off.
