    Replacement cushions for seafarer

Agree. A local shop will be the best/easiest solution - you won't find these cushions to buy "off the shelf".

    2008 275 Tournament Stero

I think it's probably more about the quality of the hardware than just BT vs wired. The reason I say that is that I've used multiple systems via BT and they absolutely ROCK!. Granted, these were on high end Mastercrafts and Sea Rays - but they were amazing.

    GW customer service?

Not for nothing, but your dealer should have done that for you. Glad to hear your got your answer, though.

    2008 275 Tournament Stero

Fusion is good stuff - it's used as original equip by some other high-end manufacturers like Sea Ray (and I'm familiar with the Fusions there) - you'll be happy with that.

    2008 275 Tournament Stero

What head unit do YOU like? That would be the more important question. Fusion is one the biggest names, over the last few years, though.

    Adding a Third Battery

Good point! And for some reason, some people with these systems often only seem to have one volume setting ;) For the OP, though, he stated his engines are always running when he's away from the dock. The OP's boat is 11 years old, so probably not the same as newer boat systems, either.

    2008 275 Tournament Stero

The boat you have (model) doesn't matter for this scenario. A new stereo will not work with your existing remotes. But plenty of new stereos are Bluetooth and can be controlled with phones.

Cockpit Fresh Water Systems ? Holding Tank Systems ?

For what it's worth... we always drank our fresh water and used it for cooking. I kept up on keeping it, well, fresh! It all depends on the effort one wants to put into keeping it that way - I found it really wasn't all that hard as long as I kept up with it. Water tends to go bad faster in...

Well, maybe it's just their choice in materials that are... ;)

Cockpit Fresh Water Systems ? Holding Tank Systems ?

Whether you treat the water or not depends on how quickly you use it. But, I would suspect that you have a rather small tank... maybe 10g? In that case, a capful or two of bleach is all you need. A cup of bleach is WAY too much! 1/4 to 1/2 cup is what you'd use a full system flush. If...

    2000 Adventure 208 is 150 HP enough???

You can get things covered under warranty directly from Suzuki? That's pretty cool if it's true. Seems strange, though, that Suzuki would "take my word" for it, though! :) The more recent Mercs seem to be pretty darn good from the reliability standpoint, though. Truthfully, I think all of...

    2000 Adventure 208 is 150 HP enough???

That's quite a bit different in price. I suppose the other factor is having a dealer nearby - I'm sure Merc wins out on that one in a lot of markets. But back to price... wow! Do you know if that is based on actual selling price? Or is it full list pricing?

    2000 Adventure 208 is 150 HP enough???

I didn't check pricing (which may differ from dealer to dealer), but I was curious about weights. If I'm correct, the Mercury 175 (and 200) are both lighter than the Suzuki... and the Mercs are V6's compared to the Zuke being a 4cyl and smaller displacement overall, as well. Interesting!

    2000 Adventure 208 is 150 HP enough???

It really all depends on how you will be using the boat and what kind of demand you will put on the engine. There is another factor here, though... resale. Going with a small engine will definitely impact the saleability. What you need to think about is how people down the road will...

265 fore deck window hatch leaking

If I'm understanding you correctly, what you are seeing is how every single deck hatch is attached to a deck - regardless of the manufacturer. There's no need for a washer under the screw head - it's useless. The only way to use nuts is to thru-bolt it but then you'd see it on the cabin side...

Hardware rust on a 2022 Freedom

I didn't see your pictures when I made my first post - not sure why they didn't originally show. But coming back to what I first said about the support brackets... yes, they are definitely not SS. Those are the cheap, chrome plated Zamac. Super cheap material. You may be better off replacing...

Hardware rust on a 2022 Freedom

Only to the original owner? That's ridiculous. I'm using Sea Ray again as a comparison (only because I know their warranty really well)... the original 5-year bow to stern warranty is fully transferable. The lifetime hull & deck warranty is not - just for the balance of the first 10 years...

    Walk Around Bow Rail

Aesthetics is, of course, all in the eye of the beholder. So it comes down to your perception of aesthetics vs function. Personally, I value the function/safety over aesthetics. But this is your boat so my opinion doesn't count! That said, I don't think a 6" rail is going to be of any safety...

Garmin GPS fuse on 25 Coastal Explorer

Fuses are always (should be) near the power source. Locate your fuse block - it'll either be "in" the fuse block or it will be an inline fuse near the fuse block. I didn't install that Garmin, though... so it ultimately depends on who installed it. Fuse blocks are often behind/under the dash.
