    330 Holding tank discharge

After trying what alfa1023 recommends, try flushing the holding tank while at the marina and sucking it out. One time I had a visiting niece throw a tampon into the head and had to flush the holding tank at the marina to unclog it. Once in awhile I have to hold the key in the start position to...

    electrical problem

Thanks for the tips. Soon as the weather clears I will attack it. Still tropical winds and rain today. By the way, It is not the bilge pump that is cutting out the display on the GPS, it is the salt water wash down pump, and yes wash down works fine.

Please help! Low oil warning will not shut off

Take the cover off and check the oil tank on the port side of the engine. Is there oil in it? When you hit the switch on the back of the oil tank does the oil level go up? If you cannot fill it with the switch on the engine oil tank you will need to follow the oil line to the big tank and...

Please help! Low oil warning will not shut off

It is either the filter from your oil tank or it is the pump at the oil tank. Also check the float switch in the engine oil tank, make sure it is free and with oil in the engine tank the float should shut off the low oil warning. Had the same problem with my Sailfish several years ago, it was...

Can Gelcoat Stay Shiny Year-Round In Fla?

Concur. It is all part of the fun of owning a Grady. Having the boat behind the house has been a real blessing. As they say, "the Captain's work is never done" although my wife tells me I'm done sometimes when I could do just 1 or 2 more little jobs. Think she gets jealous? Nah!

Oil Level Indictor Is it Working??

Another point. You should check the slide in the oil tank on your engine every 100 hours to make sure it slides up and down freely. If it sticks it would be a disaster. I have heard of one guy that had that happen, but then he did not check them ever until too late. If you set up your boat...
