Assume it’s the same as my 228, about 6-8 screws and then you can pull it out...a bit depending on how much play in the wires. Enough to see what’s going on.

Mine are for outriggers but have not tried to set them up, 20 years old.

Would like to see if any 228s with this hardtop style have a storage bag underneath. Mine is the similar to yours and we do not have the extra bar going across between the rear and front bars. I need to check though as i thought there was some very small gaps.

Btw - Don’t be nervous about not knowing what you are doing. Listen to the feedback above and give yourself extra time to figure it out. Then each time after that, it will get much quicker

I’m having a similar issue with my nav lights but it’s not consistent Best place to start is to remove the switch panel and see if you are getting volts going to the switch and then leaving it when it’s engaged. If all good there, check at light. After saying all that, you have more problems...

Yep, same here. We usually run enough for who is on board plus an extra. Towards the end of the season, I started putting them on the back of the seats and that seemed to work. I did buy 2 inflatable ones and now debating on just wearing all the time to get back some space.

I like the idea of these storage bags, but how do they handle the elements? Do they get mold at the end of the season? Ive been looking for my 2000 228 and hard to see what could work and whether it’s worth it. Think AJ quotes about 400

Take a look at this thread where they mention different compass/ GPS for radar. Also, reach out to abbor as he seems to be the one everyone asks questions to when it comes to Simrad. Believe he mentioned that the precision was sensitive to magnetic disturbances...

What model year do you need a measurement from? There are a few different designs around and not sure if there is any variation in the measurement you are interested in.

If you like that material, maybe try contacting them via another method. I did through email and the estimate was absurd. KY Grady called them and they asked for $200 less and were going to do a panel twice as large. Tell them no reverse mount and go all basics....
