I want my bunks an inch or two beyond the transom, and missing the tabs, in case I forget to put them up. Have always had transom mounted tabs, unlike your situation. Position on the trailer, and tongue weight, are another issue.

Check to see that your drain hose is all downhill, from the scupper to the through hull. You may have a belly in the hose, which fills up with standing water, and slows the drain.

Yours, unfortunately, shows the lack of attention to detail that we see all too often below the shiny surface. How many of us would have mounted that block on top of the aluminum bracket, leaving a gap, and a less solid mount than a flush fit would have been?

R.I.P. Tabman, this ones on Yamaha. One reason I like the old tabs, with none of the bells and whistles. Did you check Bennetts web site? They used to have good trouble shooting videos and tutorials.

Can you see any connections in the wires going to the pump, where you can test with a volt meter? If there is power, even low power, the fuse is not blown, although you still want to locate it.

My first thought was a re-enforcement for a 90* rod holder, but it is not strong enough, and would not require the 4 screw holes.
