    That ball in the elbow of the scupper looks like it would cut down on the flow rate considerably. Why wouldn’t it also float if there is standing water on the scupper.

    Don’t go to edit. At the bottom of your post are three boxes, REPORT, EDIT, DELETE. Delete, then delete again on the next page. I don’t think you have to enter a reason for delete , if so, just about anything will work.

    AFAIK, capacity plates are only required on boats 20 feet, or less. I don't recall one on my 2000 SF228. Where are you getting the rating from? Was 300 even available for your boat? Many people do it, get a written rider from your insurance company, not your local agent.

    You want whoever is making it to work from their own measurements and dimensions, otherwise you are SOL if the final product does not fit.

    If they are that old, what kind of display are you referring to? The wiring harness was pretty standard, and accommodates a variety of the switches, with no display. You could fill in the pieces however you want. I'm in the KISS school with tabs, no indicators, auto retract or displays...
