you can see mine mounted on the port next to the fold up seat. It's it of the way but immediately accessable and doesn't look bad.

I used to have my FLIR mounted right next to a Furuno 4kw radome. Neither interfered with the other. Image was just fine. In your photos it looks like the Flir will be before the radome. I'd mount the Flir dead center and in front of the radar.

I mounted mine right side up on port next to the radar. It works get. Flir controller is mine on the overhead electronics box. PoE injector are in the starboard compartment behind the bulkhead in the midberth.

Ha! Just did the exact same thing on my 305. Changed the batteries and blew the 40amp fuse. I've now replaced it and carry extra 40 amp fuses on board in case I ever need to change it again

Furuno is really good equipment. Just go look at a commercial fishing fleet and what they use. If I were in your shoes, I'd check eBay for a compatable antenna.

My 305 is documented. You still need to register it with your state, but you don't have to display the state registration numbers. It's an advantage to me as I take the boat into Canadian waters and documentation provided some extra protection for the boat.

Do the cool plates run off the Air Conditioner it a separate system? What brand? My 305 didn't have them but I may like to add them.
