    Aluminum vs. stainless steel prop

That’s a long time to wait for a tilt/trim repair. You can pull the unit off, send it to Florida, and get it returned fully rebuilt in about a week or 10 days. Keep your eyes open for a good used ss prop

If you want your wife, daughter(s) if you have one, and their friends to enjoy boating, you need a head. I hope it doesn't cost you $30K!

My helm seat has a slider, my passenger seat just has a mount similar to this...

What is clear film peeling on hull?

I think whatever dealer delivered your boat owes you at least an exterior detail on the hull.

Backrest for over portside storage box for 2002 Gulfstream

My passenger helm seat does not slide, so I took that back rest off so that it would pivot to face the rear when trolling. Don’t want to get rid of it, but I could trace you a pattern if that would help. If it is flat enough, I might be able to make a copy out of starboard.

    Trailer Rebuild

I wouldn't start that job, without 3 or 4 good stands, a floor jack, a GOOD 1/2 inch impact wrench, an angle grinder, and a smoke wrench if you know how to use it.

    Steering wheel

Looks like someone put a steering wheel puller on the top rim,(and maybe forgot to take the nut off). Keep your eye out for a soft rubber cap that will fit over the outside.

Also, what is the total outside depth? Battery sit right under it.

    228 Kicker Placement

Why not move the black starboard mounting block up on the metal bracket, rather than sitting the motor on a piece of PVC pipe? Is there an option for mounting bolts on that size motor, or are they only screw clamps?

228 WTB or make my own under seat storage bins

I would be interested in two, if you get something worked out. My starboard covers fit flush, if I recall correctly. How does a drop in box affect the fit of the cover on top of it?

    Water in bilge.

On the 228, you have to remove the lid/cover, and the live well tub every time you service the sea cocks, bilge pumps,etc.. It is between the stern jump seats.

    Water in bilge.

I would not use 5200. Don’t know how the Marlins live well is laid out, but on the 228, it comes in and out fairly frequently. I would look for a compressible rubber seal.

    Water in bilge.

I would suspect that the inner tub of your live well is not sealed at the top, and it is overflowing, or splashing, into the bilge when you are running. It is a common occurrence. If that seacock is shared by something else, like the wash down, remove the stand pipe in the live well, so that it...

WTB rocket launcher bar for hardtop

I am 6-1, and I can reach rods in the rocket launcher, standing on the deck. Anything less than six, and you are giving up free space. I think GW gives good directions on measuring the top, to avoid shims, plus they have put quite a few on Gradys. I wouldn’t go more than 15°, you don’t want...

    Aft bilge pump float switch

Coming off the battery selector should be a brown with pink stripe wire, probably with an in-line fuse in the first few inches of wire.
