    cost of trailer

If no luck here, try THT. There is a company in Florida that people rave about and travel from all over to buy from because of their quality and price. I tried searching but couldn’t find it....maybe Owens and Son???

    New VHF Options

Just looked at the places on my list that had it under 180, such as Ultimate Passage, but they are no longer selling it. If you are not in a rush, hold off until right before that rebate expires. Other stores might be getting rid of it also before then.

    New VHF Options

I got from Hodges in December. They actually had the 1850G $25 less than the 1850 at that point and then got the rebate on top of it. Might have been a price mistake.

    New VHF Options

I would research the features that you want and then look at what your options are. - AIS - DSC - NMEA2000 - Integrated GPS ...XXX I went with the SH 1850G as there was a good sale last month (172) plus 30 rebate. AIS would be a great feature but I shied away from it .

    Won't start on #2 battery

Do you have an OX66? I used to think taking the port battery was near impossible to take out and not worth the effort. However, a few folks explained how to do it and I can remove it in mins. No disconnecting the oil tank or anything. Let me know if you need help on how best to do it.

Nice job. Any pictures of it in progress? Also, when you glued the pieces together, did you have to heat up the material?

    Toilet for 2005 seafarer 228

I have the porta potty but have yet to use it. I make sure my daughter and wife go before coming on as I don’t want to get stuck cleaning it. Think it’s more of a piece of mind having it.

1999 seafarer 228 makeover/ flush mount for 2 nine inch screens.

I think it’s a preference on how you plan to use it. I just went with two 9s as I wanted to have a full display with side view and the other with some sort of downview. Splitting a 12 would make the side view really narrow. Take a look at the specs though as I thought some devices let you...

    Won't start on #2 battery

Thinking through your advice. If engine starts on the other battery, then does that mean the motor cables are good? So once we know the 2nd battery is good, would jumping the two cables on the 2nd battery be the next step? If it starts, then one of those cables are bad.

    Won't start on #2 battery

Ok assuming you did a likefor like replacement with Off, 1, 2, both. I would follow the advice given here, you need to start segmenting and isolating the circuits to ensure all hops work. Start with making sure the batteryis good like skunkboat says and then go from there methodically ruling...

1999 seafarer 228 makeover/ flush mount for 2 nine inch screens.

Have you guys replaced the front bilge hose? I did all of the rear ones and had planned to do the front hose but other tasks took priority. Debating if I should just wait to next offseason as I’ve been working nonstop on the weekends since November

    Red button breaker

When I was looking, I saw the same thing but could not find anything about the warranty. Blue Sea guarantees their products for as long as you own them, which is key to me for saltwater use. As for price, shop around but I got mine off of Amazon for 42. I remember that being more than other...

    Red button breaker

Also, be prepared to use PB blaster or drill out the head. Mine was corroded and took forever to undo. If you can, might be easier to just cut the terminals and make new ones.

    Red button breaker

Yes but measure your terminal ends to make life easier. You might be in the same situation as me as neither that model or the other one was plug and play. Mine was smaller than 1/4in. The two versions are 1/4 and 5/16.
