attach the mooring line to the trailering bow eye

not positive, but i think they are all 12v so they can run when you are underway. when at the dock and pluged into shore power, i think it gets converted down to 12v

i agree. if i had a boat that stayed in a slip or on a lift lift and didnt have to deal with any winterizing or trailering/ramp, id boat 12 months of the year. snow boating seems like it would be fun.

my through hulls for the deck drains are at water level at best. id consider them "below waterline"

just leave the antenna and put a tennis ball over the tip, or slide a pool noodle over the antenna

to get rpm with those engines will take a pretty small prop and i assume performance will unfortunately not be great. that is a lot of boat for 300 hp. call prop gods to try to get the most you can out of that set up.

decide where you want the bunks, take measurements, put the boat in the water, adjust the trailer, put boat back on, check. repeat if necessary. keep in mind that if you have flat top bunks, you want them under the strake. if the bunks are cut at an angle, you want them on a part of the hull...

i also think they do it near the stern, where it is at its lowest point. like coastboater said, they just raise the deck on the larger boats to achieve high freeboard and maintain ease of grabbing a fish
