WM pulled the rug out on my GPS plans

Just got my 12 talking to my WiFi here at home and did an update that was needed. I've got it set to automatically hook up to my WiFi anytime I power it up here at home.

WM pulled the rug out on my GPS plans

My Lowrance covers on my Carbon's fit very similar so I was familiar with the removal technique. Kinda flex the cover a little on one edge and lift.

WM pulled the rug out on my GPS plans

That was a big deciding factor for me to go with Simrad. I wanted the Siriusxm weather antenna and the Point-1 GPS antenna to remain active along with the Totalscan ducer. It all plugged right in and worked great.

WM pulled the rug out on my GPS plans

Good choice on the Simrad Lt. I went with the NSS12 and have enjoyed it for the few times I've used it. I fish primarily fresh water with a touch of salt thrown in. The screen definitely runs cooler than my old Carbon's. They felt as if they could burn you if not careful. During my upcoming...

Baitwell and wash down valves, can you run with those open?

I run with both of mine open sometimes and other than forcing water into livewell which drains right out, never noticed any ill effects. Washdown usually has the hose on also.

Yamaha Water in Engine ....indicator light back on

Side view of the cap please. I zoomed in and can't make out if it has O-ring or not. Depending on the condition of the top of your tanks, baring a corrosion issue, the sending unit gasket is a prime candidate for water intrusion if it has failed. Inspection plates may be allowing water on to top...

    Vinyl repair

No I don't. I Googled automotive vinyl repair and found a local guy that does that kind of work. I'd seen it done on car seats, figured I'd give it a shot.

    Vinyl repair

I had this repair done on my port coming pad. I had a hole in it when I bought the boat. PO said it was a rope burn, not quite sure how that would happen, but anyway. Thought I'd try this route before a full recover. This was the only place on my original cushions that was bad. Dropped it...

    Replacing Beckson Hatches

I bought 3 new Beckson inspection plates from Grady to go in my fuel tank deck panels and they had no gasket, neither did the ones I removed on my 2004 228.

    Bumpers/fenders on a 228?

Hull Hugr is a permanent mount to your home dock if you keep it on the water. Fenders are needed when visiting other docks. I'm set up to tie off vertical or horizontal if needed. Here's my horizontal in use on Lake Erie. Dock I tie to, the post are outside the dock. Tying vertical wouldn't...
