We are heading home today. It was a good trip. I had fun with KY and his family is nice. I ain't bragging but I am coming back for 2 weeks later this summer. Thanks for reading.

This is from Wednesday. This is my favorite reef in the Keys at Carysfort. It's on the east end of Key Largo and because of where it sits , the Gulfstream is just a couple miles off, it's very clear water here too.

Went out yesterday at 6 AM to chase tuna. Got 1 and 3 dolphin. Seas were so flat you could almost water ski in the Gulf Stream . Finished the day at the Big Chill.

Stainless steel has varying amounts of nickle and cobalt added to the the steel to give it it's " stainless" properties . neither of those metals are magnetic . The higher the grade of Stainless the less magnetic the steel becomes.

Went to Pickles today. it was rough. We had 3 to 5 rollers coming into the reef with a period of 6 seconds maybe 8 tops. I don't get seasick on the troll but today anchored up I was toast in about 30 minutes. I never got sick sick ,so I toughed it out until the chum was gone. No keeper...

stayed inside today. Fished behind the Boogies . Sheltered from the wind. caught a bunch of mangrove snapper,none keepers. Caught a bonnet head shark , a sting ray on some other fish. Nice relaxing day in the Backcountry .
