    Boat Detailing Question.

Hmmm, color under my decals was the original color whereas the rest of the boat was what I would call bleached out, definitely lighter than under the decals. I wax my antennas also, nothing wrong with it. OCD, maybe, I like for my stuff to look good. It's been a labor of love and pride, of...

    what would you do?

Many times, but from other direction. Stayed overnight on Shem Creek then went on down to Beaufort on the ICW. I've been fishing Santee for 30+ years. Guys trip is in 3 weeks, going down the 25th. The run down the river is pretty cool. Be careful around the sub base. A RIB with a 50 cal. mounted...

    Used 2005 Yamaha 225

I'm over 1300 hrs on my 2004 F225 and doing well. I had the exhaust changed when I bought the boat in 2017, it wasn't bad, but in time would have been. I hope to repower this coming fall of 2021 and will sell all rigging, gauges, controls and prop as a package. Would of repowered this year but...

    what would you do?

Have you asked your fiberglass guy about a different bottom color other than the black or blue? So not to have that nagging question in your head while the boat sits in the water for those months, your options are paint or pull it every few weeks. If I had to paint, I'd do white. Not so...

    Simrad question?

Anyone running a Simrad NSS 8, 10, 12 evo 3? Curious how the fish ID shows on it? My Lowrance Carbon 7's fish ID has microscopic numbers. My buddy's Hummingbird fish ID, the numbers are nice, the Garmin's are nice size.

Yep, running a Totalscan ducer on mine in a similar location as the Airmar 1K's ya'll have mounted, holds bottom at speed up to at least 170' or so in a local lake. Never lost bottom in Erie or Santee.

A better option than the short safety cable. Found a longer one at West Marine. 2 1/4" eye bolt to attach with. I upgraded to SS fender washers and Nylock nut.

    282 Sailfish Canvas and Seats

A&J did my new enclosure and had no issues with it fitting in existing track. It does fit tighter since it's new at the start, but now that I've had it for a couple of years, slides right in. In these few years I've had the new enclosure, I've had it all up maybe 5 times. Mainly use complete...

    Kicker mount

Think I'm going with the Pooderbuilt mount with support bracket. Cleaner install to me. I'm sure the Panther bracket would work, but not a fan of the support arm arrangement.

    Saddest day of the year

I feel your pain!! I've got one more trip the end of October to South Carolina, then I'm done. Next outing will be the Keys in May, so I've got that to look forward to.
