On the Sailfish there is a fuse panel up under the helm area. The fuse to the head is on this panel. its small and has about 8 fuses on it. The fuse is a 25 amp. There is also an inline fuse close to the macerator. The one that has blown on my boat has been the 25 amp on the fuse panel.

There was one in my marina 7-8 years ago and he used it for tuna fishing. The boat was good when it was running. I remember he had a tremendous amount of down time with the diesel. The GW dealer I dealt with said he did not want anything to do with it. I though he said they only made 37 of them...

Not sure if you are in the north where we have frezzing temperaures, but if you are make sure you don't forget to run the pink antifreeze through the wiper system too after you add it the water system

As stated earlier - it can be tricky to replace the sender with the hole in a right alignment. Trick I use, I draw a line on the sender from one of the holes right beside the electrical wire to the tank and then install the new one accordingly. It is amazing how the holes can look aligned but...

I had one corroded all the way through into the head and one with corrosion in the exhaust. exact same hours - no rhyme or reason

I leave mine on and shrink wrap over it. Seems like the vast majority do the same in the dealer we use. it does take a few warm days in the spring to thaw it out enough to roll up the curtains. They get very stiff in the cold

I had that happen with a 19 foot Mako on a trailer going 60 MPH. Thought someone hit me. Was lucky the boat did not flip. No truer words - there is always something!

I have a Sailfish with 4 strokes and don't often have issues with a following sea - once in a while heading into a harbor channel with significant wave action I have experienced the surfing issue and as I stated I use the throttle, trim and tabs to keep the bow up and stay out of the troughs.
