    1999 ox66 225 vst tank won't stay full

We never took the VST apart. Explain this: After installing the LP pumps, we started the engine and it ran mush better than before. We then put the boat in the water, it ran great, then died once the VST tank was empty. Today we checked other possible sources for issues and came up with...

    1999 ox66 225 vst tank won't stay full

We're double checking everything, but i don't see how that would suddenly become a problem. Should the cup stay completely full at all times or is it normal for the fuel level to drop about an inch from the top while running?

    1999 ox66 225 vst tank won't stay full

I use a tri-ball with adjustable height, but I think it is only good for 10k. Unless you are built like a brick sh!t-house try to get one in aluminum. Mine is solid steel and weighs almost 50 lbs!

    Voyager 248

I have the same boat and engine , but a 99. I would agree that on paper, it looks under powered, but keep in mind that this is the same powerhead as the 250. This means that you give up some hp, but the torque is about the same. Torque gets the boat moving, but with less hp a little slower...

    1999 ox66 225 flashing 12 volts

Self healing? Batteries were swapped around. The problem seems to have gone away. Our best guess is that something goofy was happening because of a bad contact somewhere. We'll keep an eye on it and report back any new developments. Thanks for the feedback!
