A and J is the source. I took my boat there and as long as the boat is not two years old or newer they will gladly work on it. I know they can be hard to reach but keep trying. My old 192 had Great Lakes on it but my 228 has A and J on it.

I have not noticed a difference in costs. I add what ever amount I need to treat the fuel being added, it is like 1 ounce to 10 gallons, so if I put in 60 gallons of fuel, then I add 6 ounces of ring free. I do this every time I put fuel in the boat.

You answered your own question there. My boat has been fed a steady diet of crap - o -nol fuels so I buy the plus version plus use stabil as well. You likely can just use the regular ring free.

Keith, I would strip some of the older material off and if it were me, I would apply high grade resin on the wood to seal it and then paint it with an epoxy paint. you could even add some glass to it I suppose then paint it. I need to get down there and fish with you again....good times.
