    Anyone with some help.

You're not trying to shove it back in the crack, you pulled it all the way out, and tried to re-insert it from the end of the track, right? Try some very soapy water.

    Trailer guides

That's a good price! How much was shipping? edit: Now I see that is just one replacement pole, and no hardware. Not as good as I thought.

    Trailer guides

West sells the CE Smith kit for $79, and $119. The shorter ones only have an 18" metal upright, doesn't say how tall on the longer version. Be sure to use a domed cap on the pvc. On a steep ramp, the rub rail can be floating above the pipe, and if it drops down on the flat end of an uncapped...

Any good ideas to repair screw in snaps for enclosure?

Sailrite is always a good reference point. 9 Pages of snaps. https://www.sailrite.com/All-Hardware/Fasteners-and-Hooks/Snaps-and-Fasteners/type/Products?order=custitem_popularity I think that you mean the snap stud, the button is the dome cap, usually on the top side of the fabric. Most boat...

    Boat launched - failed... heh

I made myself a flush bag out of the pvc shower liner material. It is kinda like me, when it is full, it gets fat and saggy. Before you fill the baq, try loosely wrapping a dock line around it from top to bottom. That may keep the bag from ballooning, and give you a few more inches of water...

    Boat launched - failed... heh

Russ, did you try to start the engines back home, after they had cooled down? What alarms are on your engine? When you get an alarm, do you also light up an icon on the gauge? If the engines will restart on the trailer, with a good water supply, crank one at a time, and log how long they idle...

Were the brakes locked up when you got to the ramp, or only when you tried to back down? Use a test light to make sure you have 12v to the solenoid when in reverse. You may also feel a click. Best way to test water pump is to submerge it several inches above the top plate. The water pump sits...

    Water pump rebuild kits

Russ, if you don't see a water pump in that picture, what specifically are you looking for? I suspect that the plastic top housing is whats in the brown box, which gives you a complete pump in that picture. There is no "actual pump", like an automotive water pump. Those parts are the pump.

    2006 Bimini 306 Winshield Snaps

I would call Sailrite, and see if they are familiar with that type of snap. It looks like they just used a screw stud snap, and screwed it into some kind of rubber button on the backside. You could use a screw stud, and use a solid backing on the inside of the plexiglass. They come in...

Need to cut a brake line

Replacing is the best move. They use stainless steel, and an inverted flare, for the connection, which is a difficult flare to match. Also, the connection is so short, I don't think that you could cut behind the nut, and have enough room to slide the nut back and fit a flaring tool in front of...

Need Help with Labor Costs on Repower

One thing to be clear on in reading your estimates is the difference between time, and labor hours. If a shop tells you 1 day, but they have 2 or 3 men on it, that is anywhere from 16 to 30 hours of labor.

    Windlass Problems

I have had at least a half dozen windlasses, and the only external parts on recreational sizes have been the circuit breaker and the up/down switch. They usually only come with about a foot of wire coming from the windlass, so you probably have a connection right under it in the anchor locker...
