I think that you are referring to snipe as an Internet verb. The use here is a noun, referring to the Navy engineering rates who work below decks, such as, machinist mates, boiler technicians, enginemen, etc.

Replacing cables on a 704 dual binnacle yamaha control unit

Thank you. So there is a connecting piece of hardware which does not come with the new cables?

    Always something....

Looks like the whole frame slid where it is bolted through the fiberglass. Use something like a wooden block, or a foot long 2 x 4, and see if you can push the bottom frame back towards the old marks.

Replacing cables on a 704 dual binnacle yamaha control unit

I need to do the same thing on my single 1993 200 Yamaha. Called Grady and they said 20 foot Yamaha cables. No part numbers. So, are the connections the same on all Yamaha cables from current back to 1993 and before?

Do you have the windshield support rods with the teeth on the mounting plates? Sounds like you chipped a tooth, I mean, slipped a tooth. Can you see any old marks where the alignment might be different? What did you adjust, when you say, "I monkeyed with the support and was able to give it...

G2 and G3 are the base maps that come preloaded on Garmin chartplotters, and I am pretty sure that you already have G3 on yours. The question is, do you have G3 Lake View, or G3 Coastal? G4 is the new version, but I am not sure if it has been released. For details, and upgrades, you want to buy...

Will 115v Outlet Power Window AC?

I wouldn't recommend Cruisair for anyone with back problems. I have used a portable in my garage at the coast for several years, with good results. I have often thought that it would be the solution to a cruising boat w/o air. Minimize the exhaust run, or use an insulated duct. Not sure what...

I wouldn't bother bleeding until I got everything else done. You will be opening bleeder valves to get the other pads out, compressing cylinders to get new pads in, etc. Never know when you may have to disconnect a line, like replacing the solenoid. Do it once with everything new in place.

If the breaker, or the switch, is at the helm, wire in an indicator light to tell you when the circuit is on.

I was wondering earlier, if someone had spent that kind of money on a partial brake job, or did it include other trailer parts? Like all new axles, springs, and hardware. There are numbers somewhere on the hubs and/or axles that will allow you to figure axle weight. You do show a 5 pin flat in...

“Thanks! Will work on getting new pass first, then install the wd hitch, then see what it does and only bleed the lines if it needs it.” Always bleed, just for peace of mind, to know that it is done correctly. Use the one man, tube in a jar method, if you don’t have a helper

225 pads match the caliper number, 7600 may be a part # for the backing plate. Since you have 2 different looking pads in each caliper, they probably have different #'s, but the set is 225...

While you have the wheel apart, look for a number on the axle hub. To determine weight rating of your axle, someone is going to ask your lug pattern, like 6 on 5 1/2. On a 6 lug, you measure 2 opposite holes, center to center. I agree, calipers "look" good, better that most. Make sure the...

I guess the first question is what are you wanting to replace, pads or the assembly? That CMB number is for the 'caliper mounting bracket'. Unless you can figure a Kodiac system that it is specific to, and work from there to figure out the number for the pads, you're probably out of luck on a...
