I had an entire dash panel made by New Wire. This is a Freedom 225. The switches were originally in two rows on top of each other. I didn’t have to change the factory wiring for the new locations for the switches. I did have to relocate the module for the trim tabs so cabling could reach it’s...
Need the weight. Quick search showed hull @ 5,300 lbs + motors + fuel + gear + accessories + trailer itself.
My guess is you’re approaching 10,000 lbs., triple axle territory.
For long term storage, bunks, assuming saltwater use, aluminum.
I had a Sea Hunt that had a similar trait. Once you hit 4000 rpm it was difficult to steer to port and easy to starboard. Thats the nature of prop torque steer.
There are solutions. Sea Star makes a booster pump. When I priced for that boat it was ~$3000 installed. I passed. There are also...
Not sure if ours are identical displays, but under an “information” selection there’s another called “tanks” that will also give you a % of fuel in the tank.
if you’re doing this underway or while the boat is rocking the reading is going to fluctuate due to the fuel moving around.
Relative to model year, boats manufactured this month through May of next year are 2025’s, so a 2023 is now a 2 year old boat. I don’t think that has a huge impact on value as automobiles do.
On mine, a 215, I first opened up the console to see which tubes from the bilge fed the console. Mine had two tubes, both opening up in the console and I used the inboard tube.
Ran the snake from the console to the bilge and pulled.the transducer cable plus a nylon pull rope so I wouldn’t need...
The trim tab push buttons have LED‘s that indicate the position of each tab. Instead of holding a button down until seeing a change in the attitude of the boat, bump the button a few times and confirm the tab moved a LED or two. Pause to see the effect on running attitude, then bump again if...
Not sure if this will help you much since I don’t have measurements. i bought this for a 2015-16 Freedom 225 from Charleston Trailer.
Main bunks are “pidgeon towed” (closer together towards front) a few inches to provide more contact to the SV2 hull.
Grady dealers are bound by contract to only sell to buyers that reside in their exclusive territories. They’re not going to risk losing a premium line to poach a single boat in to another dealers territory.
