    Boated 2 of 5 YFT out past the Haskell in the fleet. We left and looked for mahi in the Hudson pots no luck. Caught some tilefish. Found skipjacks busting and caught a few screamers on the dock rods. Hit the Resor on the way home for our 4 black seabass. Wreck is covered with big ones

    you can reach it thru the port. maybe fish a wire thru the same route as the sender wire. You just have to get a wire to the battery. or wait til next year.... you don't have a forward tank?

    That is misleading. They are saying the tank doesn’t need ground for the sender to work. That doesn’t mean you don’t need to ground the aluminum tank for the sake of grounding the tank. And yes their black and white wires confuse every American

    Technically yes the sender “grounds “ the tank. At least , the older senders did. But it should have a green wire from the nub directly to the negative battery terminal

    Are you talking a rail mounted stainless steel search light ? If you are good you can run inside the tubing down into the anchor space. Search light has multiple wires to control movement. IMO. Get a plugin or battery hand held searchlight and be done

    Also. We are assuming the end with wires is coming from the lights. you said you had wiring done. Can’t really know what I’m looking at. Could be old dead end after reworking

    The switched power to the grey and blue comes from the dash. It’s a long roundabout way to the gunnels and bow The black is the negative for the bow and gunnel lights. The green is the fuel fill ground

    Looking at the diagram that was posted, I would expect that there was a black and a green to the battery and a blue and gray coming from the main cable bundle

    the plugs are there for when they build the boat. They have premade cables at the exact lengths and can plug them together after running them thru pipes. Most of the connectors in the boat will never be disconnected again. You can re-pin that connector but its more trouble than its worth.
