Got the material for the cabin cushions. What do you all think ? View attachment 16505

Is that just regular fabric that you can pick up anywhere or is it thicker like what's on the cushions now? I've got some places on my cushions that need attention but haven't looked into material to fix it yet.

Yes it’s marine grade. Pretty heavy duty. Got it out of Atlanta 15.$ a yard Got 30 yards . This is my wife’s gig. I know nothing about sewing.
I’ll post some pics when she gets started. I have spent weeks looking at fabric. I didn’t think I was that picky but I guess I am.
I wasn’t crazy about this one but out of all I looked at it was my favorite. Wife said order something so she can get started.

I got the wire pulled from where the amp goes to all the speakers on the cockpit and the overhead electronics box and those installed. D9DC2E45-ADF4-4350-A23B-087DDB32EFFC.jpegFA2A7507-DED5-4131-92DE-93098FC761AA.jpeg
I also got the cables pulled for the dome Radar from the dome down to the lower box. You can’t get another wire in that aluminum bar it’s full.

I assume you have a remote at the helm. If so, how did you get the cable from the back of the unit to the remote? I am trying to run a new cable on mine, and it looks damn near impossible.

You can go two different ways. First is down past the fridge then into the forward rigging tube around the v berth and down the starboard side. The second route is the one I wound up going with for the nema cable. Down past the fridge then aft . There is a rigging tube that runs under the sink . I mounted the amps in the compartment port side of aft cabin. With the nema and rca cables I continued aft to just in front of the step where I mounted the cockpit speakers. Fish tape across to starboard side then back forward to electronics box.

Keep in mind I have everything removed from the boat right now . Upholstery, aft cabin walls Tackle drawers, rigging compartments. It’s been a pain because I’ve been pulling wire by myself but I’m getting close. I’m neatning stuff up and strapping everything down. I know why it cost so much now to rig this stuff.

Keep in mind while I have most of the cables pulled now still lots of mounting stuff strapping and making it look neat. I’ll post pics once I’m done. Here are some in progress. Looks like it’s going to be new 300 yammies. I have decided to keep the Kohler 5E generator since it only has 7 hours on it and is almost spotless. I shot a little starting fluid in it yesterday and it fired right up. I pulled the carb off and my brother is going through it.

I am sure you know this but make sure all the exhaust hoses are tight and not dry rotted on that genny. Also I would replace all Carbon monoxide sensors in cabin. I know someone who lost their life to a gas genny. Not to be morbid but I would be remiss not to mention it. Boat looks amazing congrats!
