Sunday wind was ugly but great bass bite on live bunker at Bay Head. This one ate the snagged bunker before we could get it in to put on circle hook.

Skunk, seems like you're pulling out early. Still several weeks of fishing available. Everything OK?

Caught & released enough 35-50lb bass. Chased the 8 mile tuna enough. They just laugh at me.
Also, there is a spiny dogfish every square ft of bottom from the beach out to 30 miles. Ask me how I know....

Beat the cold. Wrap it up. Did oil, gear oil, spark plugs today.
Actually, I have soda blaster coming Tuesday. Very old first layer of bottom paint is popping. I was barnacled up. Thats going to delay launch in spring. I will need warm weather for epoxy barrier coat and paint.
Will's Hole Marina was sold. Now called "Point Beach Yacht Club" ...sounds expensive. Prices went up. I have to give up my cheap giant slip and squeeze into another next season to only go up $150. Looked at moving down to Waretown to save money but I really love this spot in Point beach. Quick out to ocean and all my spots are up here, not out of Barnegat Inlet. I really hate BI. And just the night dock fishing is worth it to stay.

I'm going to try the stripers a couple more times, hopefully shortly after Thanksgiving, if this nasty weather leaves. Maybe tuna if I hear they are still around. Seems like they are getting easier to find but harder to catch. Good luck with the bottom repairs and the new slip at the Yacht Club!
