    228 stern seat insert pans

The brand new 218 Adventure has a similar seating design. I wonder if they've got the insert pans as well, might be something to also ask and see if those could work for your particular situation.

    228 stern seat insert pans

Mine came with both, fortunately. I don't really ever use them except to help keep the water out of the battery compartments and off the batteries as well as the other wiring down there. I think it'll be rather difficult to find them unless like you said, they're still used on current models...

When does a repower not make economic sense?

The OP mentioned towards the end of his initial comment the idea of potentially selling his current boat in 2-3 years and upgrading to a larger sized boat. Of which that makes me think that he's leaning in that direction and doesn't want to keep this one for the long haul. If that's true and he...

When does a repower not make economic sense?

There are honestly several variables here... I think your biggest considerations would be how much you bought the boat for, how much you have into it total, how much a repower would cost you and what you plan on doing with the boat in the long run. If you just plan on selling it in the next...

    Steal of a deal on a 2006 Grady White 232 Gulfstream with twin F200's - $25k

Dang... sounds like someone got an amazing deal. I bought my boat for $26.5k and haven't seen anything similar to mine sell for less. Not to mention a 232 Gulfstream that's 2 years newer and has twin motors on it. Maybe the new owner is/will become a forum member on here...

    Steal of a deal on a 2006 Grady White 232 Gulfstream with twin F200's - $25k

Looks like both ads were pulled. I wonder if a forum member purchased the boat.

    Trailer

I think the likelihood of finding the perfect used trailer for your boat within your 100 mile range is going to be difficult to do, unless you get really lucky. I'd honestly just spend the extra money and buy a brand new trailer, as well as have much better peace of mind compared to buying used...

    Steal of a deal on a 2006 Grady White 232 Gulfstream with twin F200's - $25k

I'm half tempted to flip the thing, if everything checked out and came with what is shown in the pictures. That's easily a $65k-$70k+ boat out here in the Seattle area.

    With all due respect

I just replaced the batteries on my boat at the very end of last season. I purchased the boat in October of 2021 and am unsure of the age of the batteries, especially since the one didn't have a date sticker on it. The second was punched with a "3" on it for the year, so I'm not sure if that was...

    Steal of a deal on a 2006 Grady White 232 Gulfstream with twin F200's - $25k

I think part of the lack of description is that it's a brand new posting. I check usually everyday or every other day for 208 Adventure's, 228 Seafarer's and 232 Gulfstream's to see what's available and for how much... of which this boat wasn't on BT Thursday or Friday when I checked. I'm...

    Steal of a deal on a 2006 Grady White 232 Gulfstream with twin F200's - $25k

It's from a company called Norfolk Marine in Virginia that has pretty good ratings on Google as well as has it on their website. Seems legitimate from perspective at this point. I'm assuming, and I could be incorrect, but that the outboards might have a good deal of hours on them and/or the boat...

    Steal of a deal on a 2006 Grady White 232 Gulfstream with twin F200's - $25k

Not mine, just saw it when browsing on Boat Trader. Depending on the motors and if they check out, it could be a steal of a deal for only $25k. I've never seen one this new for that cheap before. https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2006-grady-white-gulfstream-232-9419781/

ISO 2008+ Gulfstream 232 with twin bracket needing repower

Not sure about this one... it's a 2006 with twins on it and for only $25k. Not sure if it needs a repower or why it's priced for so cheap, but I'd be calling on it today if you're serious. https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2006-grady-white-gulfstream-232-9419781/

Telescoping boarding ladder for 225 Grady

I've just got the stock Grady White ladder on the back of my 228 Seafarer, of which it's a top mounted 3 step ladder and I imagine is probably the same or similar to what should be on your boat? I would maybe go with something like this, that is slightly wider and has a 400 lb weight limit to...

    700HP on a Marlin

My "Why the need for 350's?" question was mostly aimed towards the OP, because as I'm sure you're well aware and especially on the older models of the boats, they have a considerably lighter dry weight to them. The 2002 GW 300 Marlin that the OP has comes with a dry weight of 7,000 lbs as...

    700HP on a Marlin

Why the need for 350's? Per the Grady White website, a brand new 300 Marlin with twin F350's on it will do a top speed of 55 mph, and even with twin F300's, the boat still does 50 mph. I don't know about you, but 50-55 mph on the water is considerably faster than I ever need to go and it seems...

    700HP on a Marlin

His first comment mentions "two brand new 350HP Yamahas", of which I don't imagine that they're brand new units from the mid 2000's.

    700HP on a Marlin

Per the 2002 brochure, yours is only rated up to 500 hp, not 600. It doesn’t look like they were rated up to 600 hp until 2004. I think the weight will be the biggest concern. https://gradywhite.blob.core.windows.net/media/21321/2002.pdf
