    Re-wiring a boat?

Hi all - I agree with seasick, my dad was a mechanic for 40 years and he always told me, "if it aint broke, don't fix it". That said, it did replace all fuse panels, bus bars etc when I freshened up my dash this year. All connectors etc were replaced, but I did not replace any wire runs.

    New to me Adventure 208

I think I have posted this before: My experience with the 208 and the F150. I typically fish with a full tank of gas, full 32 gallon bait tank, located near the transom, 60 lbs of ice and 2-3 adults. It gets on plane fine and I can run 4200 rpm and get 20-24 mph. I do not have trim tabs...

    Hit a buoy

Just for reference. I did 2 patch jobs on my boat, 1 with marine tex and 1 with GW spectrum gelcoat. The picture of the stern and the up close picture of the white screw hole patch were done with marine tex, both below the water line. The picture of the on the bow was the done with GW...

Anyone here install an Atlantic Tower-in a-Box on a 180 Sportsman?

Looks great and very practical! I would just be cautious when trailering at speed, that will put the most stress on the top.

    9/4/22 SoCal Fishing

Well we went out this past weekend, 9/4/22, and put 5 more dodos in the boat. A buddy told me to bleed the fish head down into a bucket, they still thrash like crazy but definitely makes clean up easier. We also hooked a 6-7 foot mako, made an incredible 10 foot jump that scared the hell out...

So Cal fishing weekend of 8/27?

Day started out slow as I was trying to find a kelp, once we found one we picked away on a handful of dorados. The kelp had about 10 boats fishing and everyone was picking away it. 15 lb floro worked, but we did end up farming a few. 7 mile straight west outside Oside harbor.

    8/7/22 So. Cal Mahi

JJ - what worked for me, once I found the fish was to just stick with them, I stayed with the same few kelps all day. Slow trolling sardines got the most bites. As Enfish said -these fish were keyed on small bait, so you will have to work for the bites.
