    2004 Sailfish Vent Window

Hi Legend, Maybe this can be helpful. It will cost dearly.... George at Marine Glass Specialties in FL. Update-Called Taylor Made, and then called Grady to get the part number. The boat is too old so there was no way for Taylor to locate the exact parts I need, but the person I spoke with...

Another COVID-19 Boat/Trailer Pick up thread

Parthery and myself will hopefully have many post Covid years to talk about our new trailers. One less thing to stress about is now more than ever welcomed. Agree with you and that nice "simple" look, which is classy!

    Axle repaired!

Hi Shannon, My practical side agrees with both you and Parthery, I got quotes last fall for a new trailer, and wouldn't take the bait. Then my hand got forced, unfortunately after I spent 850 bucks on new guides, steps, and springs just before I had to bite the bullet. Hindsight I could have put...

    Axle repaired!

Took my boat out yesterday to Donner Lake in CA. Splashed it using my new expensive fancy dancy trailer. Happiest day in my life, easy to launch, load, and tow. Better yet, no hull damage and I don't believe it will going forward. If it's any consolation Russ, I got skunked fishing :mad...

Anyone set up a 228 for salmon fishing?

Here's where I ended up installing mine. Happy with the placement on my 228, and had to excavate a bit of foam under the gunwale for the install.

    2015 Seafarer 226 - Thoughts???

Salty_Red, As you said, appears very well cared for. Nice it has a hard top and newish trailer. My guess is you don't have any issues to worry about, but I highly suggest a certified surveyor goes over it before you purchase, and look at the engine too. Good luck going forward, and cash is...

How much abuse can my canvas take?

Drifter, I have a bimini top and sides, I trailer it going 65mph for years now, no issues. I would think your hardtop and curtains would handle more if needed.
