For jobs like that, make sure you get one of these. Makes handling those small screws over the abyss a snap. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-1-4-in-Slotted-Screw-Holding-Flat-Head-Screwdriver-with-4-in-Round-Shank-K34/203309822...

    Engine Trim not working?

Open the manual bypass screw a couple turns. Lift on the skag till you can flip up the safety latch and let the motor go down all the way. When it is at the lowest point, check the fluid level as the first step of your diagnosis.

2017 Freedom 205 Water under port bow storage

I had an earlier model 205 and the bow storage compartments had drain channels just under the lids. If I kept the bow raised a bit it drained fine onto the deck but if the bow was level or down a bit, the water would spill over into the compartment. You didn't say if it's on a trailer or in the...

    Electric lounge seat

If it is really beyond your abilities to disassemble and rehab it, take it to a private precision machine shop and have them take it apart and make it whole again.

    Grady for cheap

Yeah, any prospective buyer would have to check all those things out, but the boat is in North Port, Florida, about 10 miles South of me. The trees in the background appear to be oak, which are very prominent here and the grass in the yard is a popular Florida type, so I think the boat exists...

    Engine trim with batteries off?

You are just asking for parasitic battery drain and a chance for children to get injured.

    Grady for cheap

I just saw this on my local craigslist and thought it would get someone on the water at a reasonable cost. Not mine. https://sarasota.craigslist.org/boa/d/north-port-grady-white-tournament/7598799280.html

    Windlass Replacement

It would seem to me that if the current unit did a good job for 21 years, replacing with the same thing would make sense. However, if there is performance considerations that the old one didn't impress at and other models do better then look elsewhere. That being said, if the complaint on the...

    Applying Hull Stripes

Resist the urge to stretch the decal stripe as you align it. SeanC is spot on about the soapy water. It's your friend.

    New 2019 engine on a 2023 GW?

There should be a decal on the transom clamp showing the manufacture date. I think mine is on the starboard side.

    Seafarer cabin window leaks

Oh, that's different than my seafarer. It has a glass hinged at the top and swings up to open a screened opening.

    Seafarer cabin window leaks

Are you asking about the window frame to fiberglass seal, or glass to frame seal? Or are you asking about the seal where the swinging frame fits into the stationary frame?

    Compromised photo

I tried that HitPaw and it imptoved the picture some but not enough. I think I corrupted the file tooo much to repair it. For just a blurry picture from movement, it would probably help a lot. A little worried about having it on my computer though.

    Trim Indicator on Yamaha Gauge

I had a 2004 F150 and that's the type it had. A plastic clamp on the tube. Like seasick my original plastic one broke and the replacement was metal, like pictured.

    Trim Indicator on Yamaha Gauge

There is a small black box that that lever Beyond a Wake was talking about is coupled with. It has two screws that are in slots, allowing a person to calibrate your gauge reading. That lever operates a small potentiometer inside the body that changes the ohm/resistance presented to the gauge...

    Position on trailer

I guess I don't understand what I'm seeing in that picture. It looks to me like the transom is back where you see that transducer mounted which is quite a ways.
