    Fuel fill hose replacement.

My hose swap out took 2 full days. Granted my fill was the major snafu (vent line was in good shape and super easy to change) because of its condition. Good job. One less headache to worry about.

    1988 Seafarer 22G upgrades

Tmyers, Assuming you are you referring to 228G. Many of us have updated the look of our Seafarers. It's good you have a hard top. Congrats! I just posted my recent work, albeit I don't have a hard top. Hopefully many others will chime in! Lee

    Tow Vehicles

2016 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Ecodiesel. My last GMC Sierra 1500 did not have a back-up camera. Guess what my deal breaker was moving forward to this truck? Plenty of torque and great fuel mileage.

    Overheat (poppit valve)

I put in 10 gallons in a 100 gallon trough. add a squirt of dishwashing liquid soap. Run the engine for 45 minutes in neutral. The deposits I had dissolved in the tub after about 20-25 minutes. I also varied the engine rpms at times up to 2500 max.

    228G Restoration

Hi Summertop511, Yes thank you, I might just have to paint that cap metallic silver now :p I was thinking of updating the wheel, but I think I am going to stay with it. Was nice to get out of my house "lockdown" yesterday and work on her in a safe area.

Marine Paint Question for Engine Bracket

Drifter, I couldn't get any usable pictures for you unless I yank out my livewell. I was hoping I could get some from under the rear jump seats. Sorry man. Your pictures show what you will want to do if and when you decide. Good luck buddy!

    New Wire Marine Panel

Well, besides the holes New Marine drilled (which I did not ask for) being off centered from my old panel, got the new panel installed today. I was pleasantly surprised that they tied both bilge pumps to all the light switch rockers, so they are lit up for safety when when I turn on any lights...

    No Boating

Hi Sean, This is all about managing expectations moving forward for everybody. Main thing is getting to the other side in one piece. Not all will be able to do that. Good plan on getting the fuel additive in. Hang in there, good fishing this fall or next small sacrifice compared to the...

    Overheat (poppit valve)

Hey imjus4u2nv, I have had overheat alarms before when using ear muffs. Depends on water pressure in your area. For this reason, I only use the static hose connection. I have a Honda BF200, but water does come out everywhere. Looks normal to me bud! Glad your mystery is solved!! Lee

Marine Paint Question for Engine Bracket

No need to for my job, but I just realized by looking back at your pictures that your engine bracket is attached differently than mine. I have bolts on the outside flange of my Springfield bracket, so by using vice grips on one side and a socket wrench and crescent wrench I was able to...
