Reason for baby shampoo is it's gentle and won't strip the adhesive off like dish soap or regular shampoo will. I bought a small travel size of Johnson's baby shampoo and that's all I use it for.

Hookup,,, here's what I have. I had marked the label out because I have the old rode and chain in it and thought it was sold and was using this box to ship. You can see the part number and description through the marker. Been working fine so far with my Profish 700 windlass.

I use a 12v jump box for bench power if needed.

My Lewmar Profish does fine. I also use the Lewmar manufactured 8 plait rope and chain sized for my windlass.

I agree. I'll continue to use the SeaStar fluid in my steering system. New helm installed a year or so back, flushed the entire system with all new SeaStar fluid, at least I know it was done right and the fluid is compatible with my steering system. Trim tabs are topped off with ATF.
