For the ghosting??? Only if you're not putting stripes back on. Even then, all ghosting won't be eliminated. For residual adhesive, no, I used 3M Adhesive Remover, then cleaned with acetone followed by alcohol to make sure my surface was clean to apply the new stripes to.

If you have a variable speed drill, run the wheel as fast as it will go and keep it moving along the stripe, don't concentrate on one spot, as that's what creates heat and will burn the old stripes into the gelcoat. I did it when I first started off till I figured it out.

Replaced all my pop ins in the floor panels with the screw in Beckson ones. Much more of a positive seal than the pop in. Lubricated all the new O-rings with silicone grease as I was installing.

Mine is a 228, so I only have two fuse blocks. One in hardtop box and one under helm. I picked up power under helm. My VHF and AM/FM pick up power from hardtop one.

I mounted my Halo 24 in front of the bubble with a BattleWagon custom 4" pedestal with built-in 4° downward tilt. I run 2 batteries for the boat and 2 for trolling motor, so 4 total in the rear compartments. I ran a dedicated wire from battery 1 all the way to the front with the breaker installed in the middle of the run at the dash.

I have been running a PowerTech 4 blade prop since 2017 on my F225. Been all over with the boat and never had a problem with it. Bought mine through Ken also.

My cabin cushions are the last pieces of my rehab on my 228. The cushion on port side has taken the brunt of the sun and wear and tear. It is beginning to rip in places if you push on it. Will look into places around me to see about having them redone next winter, may have to take them down to...
