I bought the real deal snap installer off Amazon. Very easy to use and does a great job. The vise-grip thing never worked very well for me. Seemed like every time I removed cushions, I was pulling a snap off somewhere, so I invested in the better tool.

They are through bolted. I was able to get my fingers in between the panels and hold the small nut to remove.

From my understanding and conversation with Natron, $33K is price with no trailer. That's probably a shop trailer to move boats around on. He had a deposit on it pending the survey, and after seeing pics and what the surveyor had to tell him, he wisely walked away.

Looking through all the pics and lack of a trailer, $33K is way off,,, low $20's if someone wants to take on a project.

I went with the 17# M1 anchor. If it has been stowed for awhile, it still needs encouragement to deploy, but after the first one, it's good to go. I will be installing the wireless controller before my trip to the Keys next summer. Helps with retrieval and stowage if the anchor spins over with...
