1994 Mercrusier 350 Mag ECT bravo closed cooling system

And... what year is your engine? It's not 1994 based on what you are calling it.

1994 Mercrusier 350 Mag ECT bravo closed cooling system

Lazy, I asked a number of questions above where the answers will greatly help us to help you. But in what you wrote here... when you ran with the muffs (on a lift?), did you close the seacock? There's also some discrepnecies in a few things that you wrote that just don't jive - but we'll get...

1994 Mercrusier 350 Mag ECT bravo closed cooling system

He has a Bravo drive... the raw water pump is engine mounted.

1994 Mercrusier 350 Mag ECT bravo closed cooling system

Just to clarify... your raw water inlet is through a seacock and NOT through the outdrive? Was the outdrive blocked off or are you getting raw water from both sources? How did you account for outdrive cooling? Is your closed cooling system a full system or a half system? The most logical...

Who has worked this hard for a hardtop?

Excellent! I'd wager a beer that once you got it raised, you liked the amount of light that was shining in and, at least for a long moment, contemplated windows all the way around ;)

    1988 20ft Overnighter 204-C Fuel Tank specs

You're dealing with a plastic tank - that's different than what the OP is talking about. Plastic is easy - do whatever you want - you don't even need neoprene strips. Literally, you could just jam a piece of wood into the perimeter gap. Obviously you're going to make it more secure than...

    Ball scuppers

TH Marine makes some nice plastic tubes, as well. Good company to deal with. A chisel and hammer makes removal of the brass ones super easy.

Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks for helping to clarify that.

Metal Transom bracket corroding what to do????

330... first, welcome aboard :) 2nd... that's actually not "starting" to corrode - that has been corroding for some time. It's actually quite extensive as there is are lots of gaps that expose the core. Hopefully, though, at this point the core is not compromised - but it will need to be...

    Ball scuppers

I wrote my question wrong... I mean to say "how does the drain hose attach on the inside?

    Complaint

That's probably the best reply I've seen in years to an initial post like the first one. I like the honesty! :) But to answer your question... I guess I don't think much about it. It's a place to ask questions, respond and ocassionally some good-natured banter. Beyond that... I honestly...

    Ball scuppers

The ball scuppers have nothing to do with the tube - they're totally separate things. Yes, replace the bronze/brass tube. But... this is a really strange thing for a below the waterline scupper... how does the scupper attach on the inside? These bronze/brass tubes are usually used for a motor...

    Trailer chain?

And, truthfully, even if the coupler pops off, you're not going to put the full weight of the rig on the chains. Unless you're this guy.......

    Trailer chain?

It's not just about the size of the chain - but also the grade of chain. Meaning, two identical size chains can have different ratings. The chain you're referencing is awful light. You're existing cables are most likely much stronger - even if they have some surface rust on them. How bad is...

    Battery warning

If it was showing 11.5 DURING USE of the thruster - I completely agree.

    Adding raw water washdown

Side note... double check that you're using the 10% drop tables - it's not a voltage sensitive item so the 3% tables are overkill. A relay is a good idea - just make sure it's good enough to use in a wet environment.

You're going to have to expand your search area to a MUCH larger diameter - good used trailers are VERY hard to find. Bad used trailers are much easier...

Oh, well that's different info than in your first post! :) As mentioned above... how much larger is it?

If you found a black one that physically fits... you're done. Put it in and go boating.

    Battery warning

An assumption is that you had the battery on a charger and you left the dock with it fully charged. The assumption is that you ALSO did that last time and the battery eventually started to fail due to either not being properly charged by the engines or it's just past its due date. There is no...
