    Freshwater filter

Side note, on my last boat, I never had any issues using the onboard tank for drinking. I kept up on the maintenance (actually quite easy if you stay up on it) and it was always fresh. Maryland, 1 teaspoon is a maintenance amount - meaning the amount you would use each time you fill up...

35lb Delta plow anchor on a 2009 33 Grady express

Actually, a 22lb Delta is way overkill for a 20' boat and still WELL within it's limits for only a 30-ish foot boat. But it can never hurt to bigger :)

    Sandbar -a -fication complete

Nice bimini top! I like those flush (ish) bimini fittings, as well. Use some silicone spray on them now and then. When folded, does it's end up being carried by those two upper rocket launchers? If not, add rear legs instead of the straps and it can stay in place there when folded.

    best anchor for freedom 192

You may not have read what I wrote above... weight of an anchor does not necessarily determine it's holding power. It's only a 19' boat - you don't need much.

    Fuel Gauge Removal

I can see that at least the red, yellow and blue go directly to a quick disconnect plug about 6" from the unit. I assume the black does, as well - but if not, it's probably going to a crimp and you can just cut it. The large black tube just pulls off. Are you seeing something different in...

Was I always doing it wrong?

Flushing in a vertical postion, as noted above, gets more the engine internals "flushed". Workaround when the temp's aren't freezing: do a good flush in the vertical position... then keep the flush going while you tilt up.

    Fuel Gauge Removal

This isn't making sense - the Yamaha gauges don't come with long, long wires attached. They come with very short pigtails that you disconnect from the boat harness.

    Fuel Gauge Removal

It's not clear what type of fuel gauge you have?' But if you can't disconnect the wire at the gauge, follow it to a connector. Or just clip and re-splice

    SeaStar Steering Problem

Or.... the anode tab simply acts a rudder. It tries to turn the engine (prop end) to the port side. :) Now... it's not clear whether you mean that it turns hard to port while "at speed"... or ALSO at idle speeds. If it's also at idle speeds, then there's likely a different cause.

35lb Delta plow anchor on a 2009 33 Grady express

I don't have your boat - but in this case, the boat model doesn't matter. You're totally fine - absolutely, positively.

    Double Fused Circt

It depends on how that wire from the battery to the fuse block is wired. Does that battery wire essentially bypass the fuse block and basically go right to the dash... or do you have a fuse in that block that then supplies power to the dash? If it's the latter, yes, you could eliminate the...

    Repower Options: Seafarer 228G

I can't imagine your hull is much different than my Offshore, other than yours being a little smaller. With that said, I have a 250HP 2-Stroke and it is an absolute BEAST out of the hole. The bow NEVER comes up in front on me - it's amazing how quick this hull planes. In other words, while...

Filling marine head reservoir, 2024 Freedom 235

Over the years, there are multiple styles of marine heads that have been used. It's hard to help if we don't know what you have. What specific style do you have? Or... ask the person that sold you the boat? Didn't they give you an orientation?

    best anchor for freedom 192

There's nothing special about your boat/hull that would make it harder/easier to set an anchor than other hulls. It's a normal, planing-style hull. Weights of an anchor are not the only factor - some lightweight anchors can set extremely well. You mentioned you're familiar with scope... what...

    Re Do Stanchion Bases?

I would not want to screw them in. Bolting is much stronger/more secure. Unless you're screwing into an extra thick, reinforced area. But it should be obvious if that was done. However, "I think", that the areas in question are not reinforced. if there's a stanchion or two where you can't...

1994 Mercrusier 350 Mag ECT bravo closed cooling system

Thanks for the extra info - SeaCore is a nice setup. Still need to know where the flush is plumbed into the system - see above. Where the fitting is located doesn't matter. For now, I'll make some assumptions... which I really don't like doing ☹️ You heat x-changer can't be clogged if you...

1994 Mercrusier 350 Mag ECT bravo closed cooling system

Can you please address the couple questions still remaining from above? Better explain this quick connect fitting - for example, I previously though you meant you were flushing with muffs and your hose connection (at the house) was a quick connect fitting. Since we're not there with you, it's...
