Tape around the area that doesn't have the weatherstrip. Sand with something in the 80-180 range. Apply the 4200 and weatherstrip.

There is a 6 inch foam adapter pad that you can use but I would probably upgrade to a 6" that screws into the DeWalt. I use Presta pads and backing plates.

Yep---a 2 part uses solvents and it cures as they evaporate. All that single part crap is more dependant on water/air. Their bildge paint can take forever to dry. I was so pissed the first time I tried it. It was about a week because of all the waiting between coats.

Just a heads up that the Owens brothers sold their shop. The sister appears to still be there for now, but that could be transitional as she ran the joint. Let's hope quality and customer service continue! Rarely, does this ever work out for the consumer.
