    replacing the transom door board??

I think I would make a mold and glass the new panel with a composite or wood core. Molding the panel will allow you to incorporate the hatch stops so you don't have to screw in the afterthought trim pieces.

    Steering completely unresponsive

If you remove the fill cap on the helm can you see any fluid in it? Is the cylinder attached to the steering arm on the motor? You might be able to find some troubleshooting info here as well: http://www.teleflexmarine.com/category/ ... on-guides/

Dual Axle Rear Wheels Not Touching

And now that I think even more about that, I don't even know if that's possible. Having that axle 90 degrees out of position, would probably force the tires into the fenders. Pics. We need pics. :hmm

Dual Axle Rear Wheels Not Touching

No way simply hooking up to a different truck could pull your front axle 4" to 6" off the ground. My guess is that it's a straight tube tortion axle and you simply have it bolted in wrong. I bet if you unbolt it, and turn it 90 degrees so the arms drop towards the ground and bolt it back up...

Recs to buy a new Yammie Tach?

That doesn't work anymore. I tried it when I repowered my old 252 with used OX66s and put all new rigging in. You just have to live with it.

    Replacing bilge drain tube

Looks like you may have gotten lucky. :) I think your best bet is to start grinding glass over the dark wood. Pull it down to where you just expose the top of the wood and then commence your drying. Like I said, aim a heat lamp at it and walk away for hours/days. If you're hitting it with...

    Replacing bilge drain tube

More likely than not, the wet area will extend farther than you think and you might not be able to get to all areas that are wet. So, I would cut back the skin and dig out the core until you get to solid structure that may just be damp, and not soaked. Heat lamp the crap out of that a get it...

    Transom Repair - South Jersey

Anyone know this Sailfish?? " OH MADON ! "

Not sure. All I know about it is what is posted in the CL ad...which is basically nothing other than it's a bare Sailfish hull.

    24 Offshore bracket options

Personally, I don't like those Springfield brackets. They have a funny shape, mounting hardware runs through a flange on the outside of the body (just looks bad to me) and there are no mounting bolts running across the top of the bracket. Where are you located? I have a full platform...
