    Good bye old friend.

Nope, but there will be other greats days on the water. Maybe I’ll find a nice dual or center console down the road. Thanks for the well wishes.

    Good bye old friend.

Many years of enjoyment from this boat, I loved the way it rode and felt while driving. Great memories of fluke, Sea Bass and Striper fishing was had. Hope the new owners enjoy it as much as I did.

I would love to bring it down but I have to have a slip or store it at an Rv/boat storage as am moving to an HOA and they do not allow boats, trailers etc.

    Decision time

Decided to try and sell the boat in CT instead of bringing it down. It was a hard decision but I feel it is the right one at the moment, my wife was never fond of the boat so she very seldom went with me. I probably will never own another Grady but will have had many years enjoyment with my...

    Decision time

About an hour after posting this I got a call and a slip opened up in a marina. So now just need to decide to commit to that slip and have it towed. If I get rid of this boat I don’t anticipate getting another one anytime soon.

    Decision time

My house in CT is under contract and we have a contract on a house in St. Augustine. Still haven't decided what to do with my Grady, leaving in a couple weeks so need to determine rather quickly. I have heard this as well. I don’t take my Grady out in Long Island Sound unless it is flat calm, to scared. Can’t remember where I heard it but it was on the inter webs so it has to be true. Lol.

My 24 year old son just bought his first boat. A 2001 209 Escape with a 200hp Yamaha 4 stroke.

My issue is fixed. I replaced all the connections and cleaned and tightened the engine grounds to the post. Starts on either battery without any hessitation.

My 24 year old son just bought his first boat. A 2001 209 Escape with a 200hp Yamaha 4 stroke.

Had the same issue about a week ago. Starter would pop up engage the flywheel and nothing. Engine and battery battery grounds were slight grey and loose.
