Fixed. Engine ground on the stern post came loose and had some corrosion on it. Sanded down all there ground cables and started right up. Ran fast idle at 2k rpm and ran motor tilt no issues. Did this on both batteries. Thank you all for your input to help solve my issue.

Just find it like very strange that one day I go out fish all morning not one issue. Next day little over 24 hours later the motor starts to have all sorts of issues. Now the starter. Something doesn’t add up but I don’t know what.

Replaced all battery cable connectors. Trim motor works better, problem is when running at 1900 and trim engine it stalled. Now the starter is bad so the engine won’t start at all. Starting to think there is a lot more wrong with the engine than it appears.

There are two engines I would never buy again. The 2002-05 F225(currently own one) and the 350. Looking at the Grady web page the best option IMOP would be twin 150’s or twin 200’s, single 300 seems slow side. The 235 with a 300 wound be better but dropping down three feet in your situation...

I only have one engine. I replaced both batteries with new ones. Replace one connection and cleaned/sanded down all the others. I did not do anything with the connections behind the battery switch, I did take that off and looked at the wires and did not see anything that stood out. New water...

Wires on the trim motor seem brittle and looks like some corrosion on them. I think I’ll be replacing the motor too.

Well I haven’t been able to get to the boat. Rained all night last night and it is blowing 30 with 45-50 gusts. So I am now just hoping the docks lines hold. I think I’ll get down there Saturday.

Also going to change the primer bulb, it is starting to crack and dry rot.

Probably get it towed to the boat ramp get it on the trailer and to my mechanic.

Yep, tilt motor sounded strange today and it was very slow to raise the engine. My concern is lowering it and not being able get it raised. I have to get it out of the water soon.

New batteries, water separator and it starts right up. Fast idle at 20k rpm and hit the engine trim and dies out, then rpms spike and back to normal.
