    New stereo amp

Thanks. It is a 16 gauge wire, 80c 300 volts, I found a 16 gauge 120c 600v wire and ran it back to the battery. I also put a kill switch between the lead from the unit and this wire. That way I can shut it off when gone for long periods of time.

    Seafarer 226

So I took the back rest off the port side fish box so the helm chair now spins so you can ride sitting backward with your feet on the box. We will see if that makes a difference.

    New stereo amp

My wife gave me an amp for Father’s Day. My fishing buddy and engineer is down right now so he can’t help me. I have the black and red wire pretty much figured out. I have a yellow wire that goes to the battery. I need to add many feet of wire to it but not sure how to match the wire. It has...

    Marlin 300 vs 330 - Tournaments & Overnighting

Looking at the pics on website the 330 cabin looks a little nicer than the marlin. I would go with the 330 in your situation.

    freedom 235 or 255?

I often think about a bigger boat, then I look at my 226 and then the reality of the cost of owning a bigger boat sets in. Twin engines double the maintenance costs, slip space goes up, storage goes up etc. while twins might be easier to dock stern in singles can be done. I have Sea tow and...

    Seafarer 226

She doesn’t get sick just feels uncomfortable in the chairs or the seats. I think she likes the fold out chair. I think some nice ladder back chairs with nice cushions and arm rests might make it better.

    Seafarer 226

I have a Seafarer and love it, fishing machine. But, the biggest issue I have is my wife says it isn’t comfortable for her to go on so she doesn’t really like to go. I did buy her a nice folding chairs from west marine and she has used that. This kind of makes me a little sad bit it also works...

    Color match gelcoat

That is what I did. I took the Grady off white and added white till it was close. I put some gelcoat on the boat without hardner and it matched pretty close.

    Color match gelcoat

I have some holes and chips in the gelcoat that need to be ground out and filled. Couple on the deck and a few on gunwales. So need to try to match the white.

    Color match gelcoat

I have a quart of off white factory gelcoat and I need to match it to the deck which is white and faded. Any tips or tricks. I tried to take some white to it but it just doesn’t quite match. Maybe it will never match perfectly.

Is this a fix before it goes in the water.

I didn’t notice them until after i got the boat back from getting the water pump and thermostats changed. I was washing the boat and noticed the cracks. Didn’t notice them when I put it way. The boat was on a trailer with a cover all winter long. I am not sure what happened and/or when it...

Is this a fix before it goes in the water.

I had a boat guy from the local marina look at it and he said leave it alone. I Am just a little paranoid about water getting behind them. From my naked eye and feeling the cracks they do not appear to be that deep.

Is this a fix before it goes in the water.

So is it the opinion of the experts on here that I should have this fixed before splashing?

Is this a fix before it goes in the water.

My boat will not be in a slip this year. Funds are not available so it will spend the summer on the trailer. I’m going to see how much it costs to fix and decide if it even gets use this year. We will see. Thanks you all the input and replies.
