Agree that a little bigger is better. Got my cover from boat covers direct and ordered a little bigger. Tie downs are key to keeping the cover tight.

Agreed, I was talking to folks at my marina and they said the same thing. Get a new boat if you are going to do all that.

If it was me I would sell it and buy newer and bigger. I am in the same boat with a 17 year old boat now. 1200 hours on the engine and hoping it lasts a few more years.

I bought a Garmin 18xHD and a wedge. Never installed the wedge. Works fine from what I can tell.

Had an idea but not sure how much it would cost. Close the transom, install a bracket, mount the engine in the bracket and make a bench seat across the stern with access to the bilge from the bench seat. While I’m at it repower with a 250. I have a feeling it would be pricy.

Probably, the guy I bought it from welded it for me before I bought the boat. That was five years ago. So it held up pretty well.

Took the switch panel off and confirmed a wiring harness is in the pipe. So this just got more expensive.

Need to have cracks fixed in my Hardtop like others have in here. Need to know where the speaker light wires run. Have the manual for the seafarer 226 but doesn’t really show how they are run. Here is a pic of where the cracks are on each side. They are right at the second rod holder.

Check the in-line fuses by the battery switch, my float switch didn’t work but the rocker switch turned the pump on. The 10amp fuse was blown.
