    completely rebuilt VSTs and intakes on both engines, new fuel line from raycor to starboard engine, switched to canvas rigging sleeves in the splash well.

    Took the family and wifes sister out for a day on the boat on July 7th. had a great time, did an amazing job docking in a tight spot at a restaurant in front of a bunch of people, had a great lunch, ran to a cove, anchored for a bit, then... went to restart to head back and the starboard motor...

    i think mine is over 3k, for some reason, 3,200 rings a bell. ill try to check in the morning. i figure bigger is better, less likely to fail, and easier cranking (that being said, i havent actually counted gear teeth or made a real assessment on that one)

    eoh brakes are on the list, just behind some other things. the surge brakes work much better than i expected, to the point that i am more than content with how the combo stops. that being said, i did just put new rotors, pads, and lines on over the winter. my older daughter missed the pic...

    i would recommend scandvik style hose clamps. they are slightly rounded on the inside so they dont cut into the rubber. additionally, the screw engages in divots rather than slits so the threads dont score the rubber. make sure you get 316 ss. to remove any doubt, you could have the tank...

    loaded up, im 8500-9000 lbs. its not the exact same, but its a data point that is relatively close and can be useful with a bit of analysis

    this is no issue with a well built 1/2 ton. z36 power stop brakes front and rear, king shocks, add a leaf, air bags, e rated tires, surge disc brakes on both trailer axles. pulled from fl to pa. rolling farm roads from home to ramp.
