any decent shop should be able to make it to your boat without a template. if they cant hold a tape measure or canvas up to your boat, you may want another shop. tough about shops being booked out though

i would use a double male fitting and use the old hose to pull the new hose. i just did this with the fill hose for my fuel tank. i would also suggest drilling a screw into each hose and fitting so it cant pull off. then when done, just cut the end off and you are good to go

5200 rmp at WOT seems on the low side, but im not sure what it should be for that motor. is your motor on a bracket? sometimes it helps to trim up when in reverse so the prop wash doesnt just bounce off the transom.

do you have any specs and performance numbers for the boat with the current prop? if you are starting from scratch, see if you can find a performance bulletin for the boat & motor combo. lots for yamaha, not sure about evinrude though. another option is to call ken at prop gods.

ill add that Atlantic Coastal Welding had grady tank drawings on hand. they use 100% american made materials, even the filler rod for welding. standard is 1/8 wall thickness, they made mine 1/4 wall thickness. of course, they pressure test and provide a certification sticker.
