Great look! I can see the fasteners for the fold back but can't tell if the light there is in the way. On my 2003, that's probably the safest window to fold back for fear of it getting scratched....that said, I still don't do it very much with my more flexible window - has to be stinkin hot.

Why not just replace the rocker switch covers?

Must be an older Garmin MFD. If you can breath life into HomePort with an old PC, probably the best short term solution but at some point, you're probably need to be ready to find a converter to/from ADM/GPX. Looks like there are options available to you on the web.

Sounds like a good upgrade on Grady's part. My 2003 has no hinge and I have to "hang" the panel on the bundle of wires coming in from behind. I can only remember one time when a harness connector got disconnected but it was a pretty easy diagnosis. Good luck with the project and keep us posted!

Agree, it's now ActiveCaptain but I think you'll find it only imports .GPX files. Depending on your MFD's, you can now even eliminate the SD card transfer and transfer via WIFI. I used to use the SD method to get waypoints/routes from/to my IPad/INavX app onto my Garmin 76xx devices but just...

The jumble of wires and loops can be a PITA to deal with, but it's much easier on the DC side than the AC side. Take some good pics before you start follow FishTales advice. I'd also have the AC power off since you're going to be working with tools near that side.

Do you have 7 turns of the wheel to both port and starboard? I'm pretty sure on my 2003 330 that there are more turns to port than there are to starboard. The AP display pretty much confirms this as well. I've been wondering if this is a problem with my helm, cylinders or just the way it...

My canvas attaches to the hard top via tracks. My brother used some small PVC and cut a groove in them to serve as hangers in the garage.

Black Box VHF and you can tuck that radio away and only need room for a mic clip...which can be moved off the panel.
