    Plumbing my livewell

Is that compartment still divided into two? On my 1993 tournament 22, the outboard compartment was the live well. It had a drain in the bottom, an overflow on the outboard side, and and infill high on the forward wall. All difficult to access. See if yours has the overflow, and the infill...

    Cockpit Scupper Access

I redid my drains this week. This is the tool I used. They don’t have to be a gorilla tight. Yeah, I know, those channel locks need the wire wheel, and then the tumbler. I found them in the bilge the last time I did pumps.

    New Style Deck Drain Info

Sorry, those screws are supporting the aft end of the port side under gunnel rod storage. You can see the head of the screw in the third picture, above the drain. It was just a cautionary comment, in case you reached in there with your left hand to the underside of the scupper, and catch the...

    New Style Deck Drain Info

They are actually recessed, rather than protruding. On my seafarer, there is a step down from the nonskid to the smooth glass, and a further recess in the circular depression, for the drain itself. Check to see if Grady left you the same surprise that I found in the last picture.

Probably held that black wire that is pointing toward the camera at the bottom.

    Dead rise

It's not that complicated, measure the hull angle, subtract it from 180, and divide by 2.

Need input on Graphs and Transducers Sorry very long.

Not for the transducers, except maybe fuel flow, but if he is redoing his electronics package, I would be looking to get everything on a NEMA network.

Need input on Graphs and Transducers Sorry very long.

For simplicity, Garmin now makes a multi function, tramsom mounted transducer that gives you down, side, chirp, etc., all in one. It may have a plug and play model for your G4208. I would install a NEMA2000 network, and get everything on that. Something like this...

Boat camping (sleeping on board) with a CPAP machine

5-Salt, curious about how the cigarette lighter plug-in works. Does your regular CPAP power cord convert to 24 V, or 12 V DC output?

    Powerwinch 300 Capstan

Trying to picture how you operate that foot switch, and handle the line. Facing forward, passing the line between your legs into the locker? Deck gang learned very quickly that the bosun would tear you a new one if he ever saw you straddle, or even step across a working line. That lesson always...

UPDATE Advice dealing with Moisture at the Trim Tabs

Take out one screw, the lowest one, or the one with the most rust stains. See if any water drips out. If not, stick a Qtip in the hole for a minute, and then squeeze with a paper towel. Any moisture?

    Officially part of the club

Congratulations on your new boat. I would be very curious about: "The hull including transom was solid. The only issue with the hull that he found was a small area on the starboard side of the hull, just forward of the transom was a little soft. He didn't seem concerned with that at all, and...
