Close the bow on a Tournament 192?

My 22 Tournament had one round hole in the motor well, and 2 deck drains through the transom. I wouldn't want to have to watch and wait for them to clean a wave from the deck.

Close the bow on a Tournament 192?

If I were going to try to accomplish what you are suggesting, I would forget about snaps, and focus on the two low bow rails as my anchor points. One option is to remove them, and install stainless rings, or some other fastening hardware in the existing eight holes. The easiest solution is to...

    1978 Hatteras 204-C Restoration

Deconstructing that hull, removing and replacing stringers, bulkheads, etc., while walking around in it for months, could cause some deflection that you may not see until you try to put the liner back on. I would suggest making at least 10, the more the better, sets of corresponding numbers...

    Electronics Box Hinges....

Maybe they are imbedded, have you tried removing a screw?

    Electronics Box Hinges....

If it is the hinge shown in KY’s picture above, the area on each side of the pin is actually a cover which pops up, and the screws are underneath on each corner.

    keeping mold away!

Mold has to have a food source, and it is not vinyl or plastic, it is organic matter on the surface and in the cracks. Clean with a soft brush before you treat with anything.

Replacing rotted bulkhead on 2001 226

I sometimes get a brown stain weeping out from under mine. Do they generally rot from the bottom up, or all over?

Had a day no boat owner wants, boat sank. Now what. Also Transom and floor work questions.

The boat blew off of a lift, I think the picture is just where it ended up. I think my decision would be based on how much I have to pay the insurance company to get the boat back. With all that they are dealing with after the hurricane, I would think they would pay you, and just give you the...

How to run new wires for bow navigation lights?

Is the problem that the plastic cable clamps are too tight, or just that you can’t reach them? If it was a question of reach, and I really needed a new wire, I would try to butt splice the new to the old, with a really good connection and then heat shrink and lube it. Pull the new wire in by...

    Aluminum plate corroding? Need help!

It does look like electrolysis, maybe some stray shore power current in the slip where it was docked before.

Mounting a crab puller to a 209 Fisherman gunnel

There was a post within the last few months, where someone was looking for a replacement because one of those inserts had been ripped completely off the boat. I thought it was here, but maybe another website, another brand. Same problem. I would not mount a pot hauler, or fish for blue fin from...

    Bow cover for 205 Freedom

Only one side of the snap is on the boat. Even the OEM would send you the cover without the other side installed.

    Oldie but goodie

If the transom is wet, then the transom has a leak, the hull bottom should be solid glass.

    Fresh water tank maintenance

There is no access to the pump through the drawer assembly on a 2000 model. Access to the pump is a pop out plate on the front of the port seat base, and the fill is a chrome cap, which looks like a gas cap, below that.
