    91' Dolohin ????????

That's correct. Fuel capacity of the Sailfish is 202 gallons and I believe the Dolphin is 250.

    Outrigger locks? Required or not

Capt. Bill used these and modified them slightly to accept the rigger poles... He mounted them right to the edge of the hardtop. I would have done the mounting a little differently, but it was some sweet "out of the box" thinking on his part. I like these far better than the Lee...

Yam Water Pump Help - Mechanics / D.I.Y.'ers, Please

I've heard that too. However, I always put a very slight amount of wheel bearing grease on the pump housing insert (to make it easier to get the impeller in there) and I found (on my old Merc 150) that if you do this, there isn't enough friction to make the impeller vanes flop over if you get...

    Yes.

Just use an antifouling paint that's appropriate for AL and you'll be fine. Or you could scrub off the part that sits in the water ever 2 weeks or so.

Yam Water Pump Help - Mechanics / D.I.Y.'ers, Please

When I change the water pumps in my 225 OX66s, I pay close attention to a few specific things: 1. Put the engine in neutral before dropping the L/U. I did just read that if you put in it forward you can spin the prop/prop shaft to line up the splines on the drive shaft during reassembly...

    91' Dolohin ????????

The Dolphin is basically a scaled-up Gulfstream. GW cut back on the family accomodations and made the Dolphin fisherman-friendly (less cabin and more cockpit space). The difference you see in the transom configuration is simply one of three power options that were available on both the...

    HOW TO: Replicating Diamond Non-Skid

I would have to say it's a combination of all of those things.

    Strange ?Fuel Problem

Try running it off of a spare 6 gallon tank connected directly to the engine. That will tell you if it's an engine or tank/line problem. Does your primer bulb say nice and firm?

    Yamaha 2001 SWS paint codes

I shouldn't leave it on an all bad note. Their customer service was excellent and the rep. I spoke to about my experience with the paint indicated that was not the norm, gave me a bunch of tips and offered me a discount on my next order. Based on that, I will try the paint again if I ever need to.

    Leaning Post for 1991 Fisherman

Give Don Battin of Pipe Dreams Marine a call. He can hook you up with what you want for a reasonable price. www.pipedreamsmarine.com 609-628-9353 He did this leaning post for my '85 204 Fisherman and I was very happy with it... :)

    Yamaha 2001 SWS paint codes

Colorrite is supposedly the OEM supplier of paint for Yamaha. www.colorrite.com But be forewarned that I, as well as a few others I have spoken to, have not gotten good results from thier paints.

    Yes.

Pete, Almar's in DE will let you install all the rigging, but they have to hang the motor and make all the connections to it. That's what I did when I bought the 150 Merc for my old boat. Saved myself a bunch of $$$ in the rigging costs. Sounds like you have your mind made up though...

Has anyone repowered their 204c with an E-tec 150

With numbers like that, something is wrong other than the prop. On my '85 204 Fisherman, I could spin a 15 x 17 3-blade AL wheel to 5600 - 5800 depending on load with my '02 Merc. 150. Where's your anti-ventilation plate in relation to the hull bottom? Are you sure you're getting full...

    HOW TO: Replicating "Splatter" Non-Skid

I just didn't thin the gelcoat as much before I sprayed it, nor did I do any sanding once it was cured like I did on the perimeter. The pattern is all gelcoat, no additives.

    Switches

I figured this out once and wrote up my findings. Let me see if I can dig that up... BobP is right, DPDT switch was required and I recall having to make a jumper that ran from one "on" set of contacts to the other "on" set of contacts.

    HOW TO: Replicating "Splatter" Non-Skid

This post is intended to outline the process of repairing damage to the splatter non-skid pattern that many Gradys have on the gunwales, hardtop and cabin decks. Please note that I make no guarantees about the results you will achieve. I can only say this process worked very well for me. :)...

Please note that I make no guarantees about the results you will achieve. I can only say this process worked very well for me...
